What does IB Math Stand For?

IB stands for International Baccalaureate. It’s curriculum is composed of six groups of subjects, Math being the fifth. It, in its turn, consists of four different math courses, as follows:

• Mathematical Studies Standard Level
• Mathematics Standard Level
• Mathematics Higher Level
• Further Mathematics Higher Level

For those of you who don't know, the International Baccalaureate diploma program is a two-year high school program aimed towards students aged 16 to 19 years old.
